This is the PIMP MY CANON meme, where you have the opportunity to show off your canon and perhaps even find a new one to get into!

Want to share the glory of demonic butlers? Do you need to tell people exactly what a Lombax is and how cute their tails are? (Seriously their tails are super adorable) Here is the place to do it!

How do I PIMP MY CANON?

In whatever ways you deem fit. Write summaries, link videos, screenshots, fanart, playthroughs, whatever you want! Add on to your friends' comments with additional stuff of your own!

The only thing I ask is that you not put too many large images in your post (if you have to put in a lot, make some of them links!) and link to videos rather than embed them. This is so the page doesn't take for-freaking-ever to load and doesn't become inaccessible due to oversaturation of gifs and stuff.

You may also want to keep spoilers to a minimum, but that's up to you.

Also make sure your coding works, because nothing sucks more than making a totally awesome ad for your canon only to have a missing bold tag mess it all up. Or you could edit. That works too.

Homestuck has more time shenanigans than Doctor Who, so much dying even the ghosts kick the bucket, breaks the fourth wall multiple times, has intermissions that still confused half the fandom, and if you ever read it, this is generally what will happen:

It's a canon where I can app a guy who has, so far, only appeared in one panel and doesn't even have any speaking lines but we might be meeting his previous reincarnation self (???) at some point who even knows

At least the fandom makes very pretty art and music when it isn't being huge and terrifying?

And then you are mesmerized by all of Dees' icons of Gamzee. Oh wait. That's normal without the application of Homestuck.

It rots your brains and then you start imagining Eridan trying out for "Undercover Princes" and cackling madly.

Some times you wind up organizing things by blood color order or you sketch out some troll.

The idea of quadrants start to sink into all your other fandoms and you can't escape

Or you can't even read a "clever" sign about ♦ing your dogs without seeing it in HS terms.

To be fair, dogs make great moirails.

Yes, SLOW DOSES. Don't be like me and read it all in 3 days. It will consume you and make you realize you have no life.

That is exactly what I did. A couple months back? I sat there and read the whole thine in three or four days.

Wow so we even did it at the same time x.x I feel kind of bad for my boyfriend because he had to listen to me ramble about it, but it sounds like he's interested now too. We have a bad habit of getting each other into new series.

Once you can get past its sheer size, homestuck is really cool.

But then again, you either like it or you don't.

Still, it has very appealing characters, a nice story with a very cool premise AND it is still going!

I kind of want to start reading it but I literally can't read most of those text quirks.
