I like Jude. He's a great character, despite everything. He's nice and kindhearted to the point that he can't leave anyone if they need help. This also makes him meddlesome, since he can't apparently understand to stay away from things that don't concern him. His only real fault is that he was too much obsessed with Milla. He was obsessed to the point that he built his little world around her.

But no matter.

I believe that that very scene was to make people ship Jude/Alvin. Or something. Which is pretty stupid anyway in my option, considering that Jude doesn't exactly care all that much of Alvin... not from what I've seen so far.

And Jude should've know better that Leia's more important at the moment that telling Alvin that even if Milla is death they're still alive and they have to move on. Also why they keep forgiving Alvin is beyond me. He betrays them almost all the time and at the time when Alvin said he wouldn't betray them anymore (because he was betrayed too haha), I just laughed.

I like Alvin as a character, too ... I think it's those character flaws that really make the characters. But even despite the 'bromance' they kinda wanna portray with Alvin and Jude, I don't really see Jude liking Alvin all that much so far, either. xD I think Alvin might have come on a little too strongly in the beginning guess who got the game for Christmas hurhur ~. That could change as the game goes on, but from what you've said, it doesn't seem to change much. xD

Admittedly, Jude's obsession with Milla is kind of annoying (and I don't see Milla as anything really impressive tbh ... I like Milla, sure, but I don't think she's as godly as everyone seems to be making her out to be) ... but like you, that's the only thing I'm really irritated about concerning Jude. That and how he didn't get help for Leia right when she was shot. I mean, come on, man. She's kinda hurt and possibly dying there. Even as a med student, you should know she's going to have some pretty limited time if you don't get help for her. HEY WHAT WOULD MILLA THINK IF SHE SAW THIS.

I still want to write a fanfic where realism came into play and she actually died from all of that ... I don't know if I could bring myself to write either of the Xillia fanfic ideas I have, they're far too depressing and horribly destructive to my baby girl. ;; [ hugs Leia forever ]

I have a serious problem with Alvin actually. He plays a cool guy, while being a traitor and the very fact that he betrays the party all the time is kinda annoying. His attitude is also unnerving me. I mean, c'mon, he just comes back to them because he knows they won't throw him away!... Milla said she prefers to keep an eye on him, but that doesn't really work.

Milla is pretty nice character, even though I can’t say she’s awesome or something. I just like her, but that’s it. She is strong-willed and no matter what would happen she just doesn’t give up. She saved Jude and others, because she knew she's the only one who can do that. She wanted them to live on.

But of course, Jude didn't appreciate that and he preferred to mourn over Milla's death. And also whine that everything they did so far has no meaning. Way to go Jude.

Of course, a little later everything's changed and the situation got better... kind of.

But I can understand why Jude was acting like that. It's seen a few times in the game, that whenever something's critical happening, Jude just loses all his calm and gives up. He also becomes a bit aggressive. First time something like this can be seen when Milla couldn't walk anymore. He yelled at her, asking why she still wanted to continue her mission, when she couldn’t do anything anymore. While he already gave up, Milla was still calm and didn't lose sight of her "mission". This made Jude rethink everything and try to find a way to help her. If it wasn't for her, he would just give up and go home or something.

He also tends to focus on problem at hand, completely forgetting everything else. I guess this also might be a reason why he first punched Alvin, before he helped Leia. And beside at that point he was hardly thinking clearly of what he's actually doing...

That's what I think anyway. haha

omg that would be so saaad ;__; Wonder how Jude would feel after that. Would he start mouring again?

Ahhh, so it's making more sense to me now. Milla was kind of inadvertently showing him how to become a better person, and he might have come to depend on her for that ... so when she was gone, he clammed up and reverted back to his old way of dealing with stress. Milla is impressive in her resolve to get things done even in the toughest of situations, but as I said, I don't really see her as being quite as godly as the fandom in general tends to make her out to be (this is kind of how I've been seeing the fandom's take on her ...). I did make jokes about her being God at first though, when I started playing through the game. And then God was no longer God. Oops.

So I can kind of understand why he focused on punching Alvin first, and tending to Leia later. Still, if she had ended up dying from all of that before he could help her, he probably would have guilted himself even more. He might have even felt like he was alone in the world, and then his thoughts might have become darker and he might tell himself that maybe it's what he deserves, even if we all know both Milla and Leia would never allow that kind of talk from him. I swear Leia would probably slap him if she ever heard him say that. XD

I generally don't listen to fandom, so I don't know. I've heard a lot of people liked Milla though, but I don't think there's anything godly about her. Especially since she isn't even the real Maxwell, but was used as a decoy.

If he ever acted like this, Leia should do it without the second thought. Jude can give up way too easily sometimes.

Haha, that's one of my flaws, I suppose. |D; I listen to fandom entirely too much. So much that it ends up backfiring on me at times, sob.

... Leia muse just gave a salute in my head. I think that's a 'will do!'

Oh, also, Estelle's feeling really crappy right now ... depending on how this thread ends up, she may be making a network post and asking for advice before I make the library log. :x

Oh that's okay. Maybe Ruca will also try to give her some kind of advice? xD

and also I was thinking that I probably should make him ask about the library anyway
