1. Originally from Switzerland, though he moved to the Death City, Nevada when he was 12. His parents are pretty normal people, and he's the middle of three children. His sisters are also pretty normal people.

2. The scars (and the screw) are things he did to himself.

3. Is pretty annoyed he didn't make Spirit into a Death Scythe, and still kind of resents Maka's mom for taking his weapon (and favorite experiment) away

4. Degrees: Doctorate in Soul Theory. PharmD. Not actually an officially licensed medical doctor.

5. His favorite color is green. Absurd bright neon green.

6. He has absolutely no sense of fashion, especially when he tries to wear something other than his normal clothes.

7. The weight of the screw in his head makes his neck hurt, which is why he's constantly cracking/rubbing it.

8. His birthday is Dec 12th and he's 30 years old

9. He's known as the strongest meister, and while he's a utility meister (which means he can use any weapon), he can win most fights without using a weapon at all.

10. Stein thinks of his students as his children, and he's fiercely protective of them. Seriously, don't mess with his students.

11. On a related note, he really wants to take apart all of his students. Especially Kid.

12. In Vatheon, he doesn't have hallucinations like he does in canon, but he does still have more nightmares than he would like. They tend to feature the witch Medusa.

13. He likes tea more than coffee, but he uses it more for the caffeine than the taste, and isn't picky.

14. Marie's tendency to fill his house with pink things and flowers doesn't bother him as much as he pretends it does.

15. Spirit's the only person from Shibusen who's ever actually gotten away with calling him by his first name, and that's was in a "Franken stop that right now!" way.
