[Equius doesn't mind the closeness at all, although he does lean in a bit over the half-completed robot to examine it more closely.]

How are you keeping it watertight?

Well, that was a minor challenge, but one I've already had to deal with. Something for Gamzee, has he shown you it?

At any rate, the thing you want to do is- over here, see? [Reaching over, he gives a light grunt as he takes care to pull a piece that's firmly in place, well, out of place. Nothing that actually damages it.]

That right there- [And he goes into a small babble, a faint blue flush over his face. That's partially from excitement about talking about something he loves, but mostly because the room is rather hot and he's been at this for a while.]

Yes, I've seen the robogoat. I just never got a chance to really examine it, you know?

[He doesn't think Gamzee would appreciate him asking to take his replacement goat apart.]

[He listens attentively, following everything Darkleer explains and nodding as he does so, but he also notices how flushed and sweaty his ancestor is.]

Do you want a glass of milk? I can go get one!

[Without waiting for further clarification, Equius jumps up and goes to the kitchen, where he finds that... there is no more milk!]

Oh, thank you-

[Oh, welp, he's off. Amused slightly at his eagerness, Darkleer goes to tie his hair in a ponytail before following after.]

Equius?

There's no more milk!

[Crisis!]

[Just a light smile.]

Equius, we can always get more milk. There is certainly no shortage of it.

[Yeah, that's true. He's just being silly.]

Do you want something else, then? Or should we go and get it now?

We can go now, if you have nothing else. It might be best if I take a break as well. Perhaps we can go and get other things. Is there anything else we are out of?

[Being out of milk is terrible, and it depresses Equius.]

I don't know; Gamzee does most of the shopping.

All we have to do then is look through the cupboards and thermal hull, Equius. It won't take but a moment.

[Look, Daddy is already starting after patting his shoulder.]

[Seriously, he has no idea why he's so tense today.]

[He goes to open a cupboard, and crack!, it breaks apart in his hands. This would explain the anxiety... today must be an extra STRONG day.]

[Oh dear. He recognizes that sound. He'll just come over here and try to keep reassuringly smiling. Being upset will probably just upset Equius further. Let him just... take that cupboard door.]

Has there been anything worrying you lately, Equius?

[Because it's not totally obvious or anything. Equius sheepishly hands the broken door to Darkleer and then looks into the cupboard with slightly glazed eyes.]

Uh... flour, maybe?

[To put it lightly.]

Alright. Flour, milk... It looks as if we still have quite a bit of rice left. [They sell those things in bulk.] Perhaps some more jam?
