Speaking of which, Angelo has told Lloyd a little about Marcello. I found this out while digging up old threads with Angelo. He just never told Lloyd straight out that "Marcello" was his brother. I'll have to incorporate this somehow:3
Ky's happy to have moral arguments, although he's very very Catholic and very very stubborn, so they might well just quickly reach an impasse. He does enjoy reading, though!
Well, Marcello used to worship a singular Goddess, so he'd find Hy's belief in a male God quite strange. I am curious how Ky would explain his faith in God, since Marcello pretty much lost his and views religion as a whole with scorn. How Ky would respond to people who scorned their faith, rather? There's a whole lot to discuss there. :3
What sort of books does Ky read? Marcello's pretty well-read on subjects in his world, of course. In short: he wouldn't know anything of computing.
Ky's used to people who scorn faith and also don't want to hear about it, but when he has the chance to talk about it he's very...impassioned. He thinks his faith is the only right one, so he wouldn't mind people who had scorned something different. (He did have a discussion with Angelo on the topic at one point.) But he does think that faith in his God is the way to find redemption, and it's been personally very helpful to him. He can be kind of pushy.
He reads literature and poetry, as well as some nonfiction, but what was available in his world was very limited (hello post-collapse of civilization) and he avoids science topics entirely, even here in Vatheon. (Because the Catholic church declared some sorts of technology to be black-tech, or immoral.)
Well, Marcello isn't pushy; he's more harsh and stubborn. If they discuss issues of faith, it seems it would be on an intellectual scale? They seem ideologically opposed on religion as a whole. If they talk about it they seem like they would conflict, if that interests you. Some like it, some don't so I don't mind either way :)
What's really interesting for CR is this:
'His religiousness is in large part a result of the fact that his childhood revolved around the Sacred Order of Holy Knights'
Marcello's life revolved around a holy order as well. He was the Captain of his order, so I feel that's something promising to discuss?
Otherwise they seem ideologically opposed. Which can also give some CR.
I'm always happy for negative cr, as well as other kinds.
Ky does get very stubborn and very quickly entrenched in his position though, so it might be interesting if they could discuss their holy orders and their responsibilities for a bit without delving right away into their idealogical contrasts.
Hilda's got a ways to go before they can say they're friends. But I feel their CR is mostly positive so far? It's nice and challenging; each makes the other think. He's curious as to how Hilda treats what he views as an animal as a close friend. It's a strange concept.
There's something in the connections Pokemon can form with people that he's really lacking, too. Because he's a lot like his brother in that he views such things as fickle.
Mostly! If it turned negative at any point I wouldn't be opposed to it either. XD I just like their CR and think it's interesting.
Hilda's getting to know Angelo, too. Angelo's hitting on her and making N jealous. It's great. 8D So once she makes the connection that Angelo and Marcello are brothers that'll be interesting as well.
Once she makes that connection, he might warn her about Angelo's many many flaws. Truly, he is disgusted at his brother's attitude towards women. Though he wouldn't want to talk in depth about their relationship. Hilda doesn't strike me as the interfering sort, either?
In any case, just don't tell him they're anything alike. :3

The problem just seems to be getting them to interact in a way that isn't combative, or has one walking away.

Although, first he needs to find out that Marvello is Angelo's brother. XD

Anyway! His name should come out in that thread soon. I'll be tagging sometime today. Headache is gone and I feel better. :3

And discussing their Holy Orders works for me.
I look forward to threading with you. :3
