currently: SLEEPING A LOT but hiatus/comas can do that to a guy. He'll be waking up sometime today to all the new faces and the confusion of the curse he missed. Zelos being around will shake him up a little bit, so with that on top of the improving weather, he'll be at Golden Victory a little less and up on the island a little more than usual.
Usually he can be found at the Welcome Center the last half of the month, around the coral in the morning doing power readings, or you can find him training up on the island or in the forest quadrant. He swims at the casino a couple times a week, although once it warms up, he'll be making a point to start swimming up at the island.
interested in: - TECHNOLOGY if you do tech then why aren't you friends? But no, he's usually pinged by almost anything regarding the technological, and even after a year and a half he's still trying to find his way around engineering principles outside those of Auldrant. - Those who can read the energy/mana/whatever of a person are free to note that Guy has a dark patch, lock, or web somewhere in his body with an intricate and foriegn code. This is due to his fon slot seal, but he will rarely ever talk about it, and the scarring due to it (on his upper right arm) is almost always covered. :( - He enjoys kids/younger people with questions - Stories! - Chances to ask about other people's worlds will get him around. - If you're a parent or have raised a kid for some reason then they have stuff to talk about! - If you're a replica/clone then they have something to talk about! - Ranks of nobility will find him easy to talk to for a servant considering he is technically a noble himself, but he does enjoy conversing with the higher class... and when he doesn't enjoy it, he can at least tromp through the formalities if necessary. - HE NEEDS MORE HOMESTUCK CR WHERE ARE ALL OF YOU - Religion, morality, philosophy and war are some more fun topics of choice. - Recent events have made him more determined to help out with the efforts to figure out the coral, its energy, and how it can be used outside the scientists' hands, so anything involving that will bring him around. - If people catch him and Zelda together, asking questions about that lovely little relationship is always welcomed. /steeples fingers
future ideas: I'm actually going to have to brainstorm a little more for this! In general, he needs to start establishing some more strong CR again, since he just lost a huge link in his chain last month.
- There's a possibility coming up with Johnny if the CR allows for it. yay vampires don't tell zelda - He's always got things to do with Zelda, including theories and plans and um possibly moving in with her. - One of these days he's going to offer to make gadgets to help out Ruca with his studies. He's quite fond of the kid and wants to see him succeed. - He needs to be re-introduced to Zelos and Bianca and adjust to the changes from that. - I do have a post I want to try of him just randomly trying to disassemble something he's not supposed to out of complete curiosity (like taking the panels off of something in a store or at the amusement park) and get in a ton of trouble for it. His technological curiosity isn't getting him into enough trouble! - He does need a sparring partner. His technique is extremely important to who he is, and training on his own only gives him so much. So he may start asking around. - Faris, Sophie, he owes you drinks, get your butts over to the GV bar and he'll serve you up something nice. - I'd like for him to get a cat! Nepeta or Disciple, could you help out with that?

Yesss. Anything specific to break the ice past the Ion conversations and that Gamzee hug? Like what does Sola do on a daily basis, or what does he enjoy?
He has a delivery business where he does a lot of fetch and carry for people (think Biggoron's sword sidequest in OoT). He likes to feel like he's useful for something. He also just generally likes to explore and enjoys the outdoors, though he doesn't go up to the island much anymore because Johnny hates it and gets worried something terrible will happen.
He's vaguely interested in robots thanks to Jade and Dirk, and now has a robot puppy! So he could be taking that for a walk?
I'd love to get some CR with you! Zidane would love a sparring partner... and would completely encourage him to take things apart because yes that is awesome and not a bad idea at all.
...And he's also a surprise alien clone.. thing. But he probably wouldn't be talking about that right off the bat or anything.
Both Rand and Duke can help - somewhat- with the tech-y stuff. Rand is tougher because LOL WHAT IS SUBSTANTIAL KNOWLEDGE ON AGE OF LEGENDS AND WHAT DID LEWS KNOW- (all we're told is about the stuff of the Age, that Lews was boss of the mages, and that "he liked to know things" /flops over like the crying cat)
Duke has a few pieces of crystallized mana (although I don't know if Ioder will let him play with them, he hurt himself fairly badly-) that he could also try to help the techy stuff with, and maybe after long enough he could be like ".. is that spot supposed to be there."...
Y'know. After he gets over how terribly awkward it is to talk to Guy. (spoilers, give him five minutes of a good distraction and he'll forget until next interaction-)
Guy's always up for talking to Duke about tech and blastia. Their last conversations have just been very.... awkward. But if it was simply about SCIENCE then I think the two of them could at least function around one another in a decent manner.
And yes, I'd love for Duke to spot Guy's curse slot. /steeples fingers gleefully Not many people notice it.
