I've been here for about a year and a half. Not sure how much longer I have in this place, but I'm willing to try and make the best of it.

I've had people leave me here, too. It really hurts.

[Sneering his mouth] Yes, it does hurt.

[Denzel really didn't know what to do and his body language shows that as the man does start towards Kohaku but hesitants. Was it worth trusting and possibly being hurt again? It was nice to have that void filled....]

But even if it hurts, I don't regret getting to know them while they were here. I would never have gotten to know such wonderful people otherwise. That would have been even worse.

I guess it depends on peoples' perspectives, though. That's my perspective. Yours could be different.
